Oregano oil should always be dilluted! For topical use, dilute 1 drop essential oil in 10 drops carrier oil. A patch test on the skin is advised to check any allergic reactions.
It is very effective when taken internally, but it should be diluted and not taken for more than 10 days.
Pregnant women should avoid oregano.
